| I was amazed when i walked outside this afternoon. I saw a hawk catch and kill a pigeon on my neighbors lawn. I ran inside to get my camera and took about 50 shots, this is my favorite of them all. |

Juvenile female Cooper's Hawk - when compared with the size of the pigeon, at first I thought juvenile male Northern Goshawk - but there's no gray coming in. Beautiful shot!
