I was amazed when i walked outside this afternoon. I saw a hawk catch and kill a pigeon on my neighbors lawn. I ran inside to get my camera and took about 50 shots, this is my favorite of them all.

nice action shot. could use some sharpening and levels work.

Hi Taylor

Wow... this is impressive. I have tried many times to photograph a wild Hawk with no luck at all. Congrats!

Juvenile female Cooper's Hawk - when compared with the size of the pigeon, at first I thought juvenile male Northern Goshawk - but there's no gray coming in. Beautiful shot!

Taylor,

Welcome to TN, you start very well. Keep shooting.

Scott

A warm welcome to TN, Taylor.
What a great moment you have captured!
The POV of the whole scene is fantastic.
The eye contact with the hawk is awesome.
I made a workshop to bring out all those great features a bit more.
Hope you don't mind.
Thank you for sharing, and looking forward to more of your photos.
