Wonderful ice etching... another beautiful design from the Creator Himself and nicely captured by you. Well done! TFS Bob.

Hello Bob,
What an amazing artistic display you've captured. Very good exposure and lighting with excellent detail!! TFS.
You just gave me a really good excuse to use on Rosie whenever she gets on me about my trucks windows being dirty! I'll tell her to take a look at the beautiful image it will eventually create!!!
Thanks again!! From me and all the other husbands in the world!!!
Ron
Hello Bob!
This picture is really great artistic photo! We often overlook the beauty of the "frozen world" :> Great capture and documentary picture.
All the best from Poland,

Hello Bob,
Beautiful and fascinating photo of this frozen window.
Very special.

Hi Bob,
An amazing shot of these ice crystals!
The first thing that springs to mind is fractals.Of course, the mathematical formulae that express fractal geometry are relatively recent discoveries (thank you Mr Mandelbrot),but fractals have always existed in nature, and it is in this kind of image, and in the unfurling fronds of ferns that we can most readily see how they shape our world.
Interesting theory about the dust on the windows.
It sounds as though the reason for the growth patterns in these crystals is as much a mystery as the growth of helectites in caves.
It could also have to do with the prevalent localised air currents across the window.
Very interesting.
Cheers
Steve
