| This big Golden Digger Wasp - Sphex ichneumoneus - hunts large crickets, which it parayzes to feed its brood. It's more than one inch long, but completely harmless, unless you handle it. |

Yes! Even the rattlesnakes are harmless if you stay as far as possible from them.
The problem is that us, nature photographers, can't do that , we just can't help it.
