Leslie this is not a picture but a portrait of the Willet. The soft focus on the BG and FG help bringing out and concentrate on the subject itself. Beautiful sharpness. Great work.

What a beautifully patterned bird.It is similar in shape to our oystercatchers.The pinkish flowers or seed stalks add an interesting bit of colour too.The focus on the bird is perfect.Well done Lesley.

The three levels are amazing. Exceptional depth in this shot. The contrasts are so nice. "Willet" here can be lucky to have his portrait taken in such a fashion and surroundings. Great post, Lesley.
