[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another shot of the many I took the past two days. I only have a week left before the area is fenced off for the nesting season. Right now I am able to walk right up the nesting boxes. I only wish the Bluebirds were as cooperative as these Tree Swallows are. You even look in the direction of the Bluebird and they fly off!

This morning there seemd to be more Swallows that have joined the frenzy and I would imagine each day will bring new arrivals from the south to join in the aerial display of mock battles and ballet to impress the not yet arrived women!

Very good capture, very good shiny colours and very good composition, in the next time you need to approach the bluebirds without looking to their direction, maybe they won't fly off... :)

Once again, perfect details in feathers and the iridescence is really shining. You are the master of fill flash.

Beautiful photo of a tennant looking for an appartment or perhaps he's already singed the lease. Very sharp Leslie and great colors on the bird. I must agree with Rene, you sure know how to take 'em.

This is a wonderful photograph! The translucence of the back is stunning. The white of the breast and the delicate feathers at the chin are marvellously captured! I like the colours blue to grey to the grey of the wood. Great composition!
