Hi Angela,
Awesome photo! What an impressive bird. I guess I never think of The Great Egret when I think of Brooklyn. I usualy think of Juniors Cheese Cake :)
I like how you captured this bird in flight with it's wings wide open in thier glory. The color in the sky goes well with the bird to make a great wildlife photo.

I feel I should be asking if this is an oil and who the painter is!But instead I'm asking you, what made you leave the shot with the colour noise?

Very good shot of the Heron. That blue sky with the soft white thin clouds makes a great BG. Very nice job!!

This Egret flies overhead an Dutch name- Gerritsen kreek.
kreek are creek.
Good capture with a lots of air and clouds around the bird.

Hi Angela, I really like your egret photo. You froze the action well and captured a good wing position. That's a beautiful sky and excellent composition.
I did a workshop to filter out the noise (grain).

Greater Heron is very beautiful species. I think it is Egretta alba, which occurs here. But I see lesser one, E. garzetta more common. You capture and presented nicely. Composition, frame also nice. TFS, best wishes
