This is a photo of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon as we saw it at 7:00AM in the morning. The fog engulfed the entire canyon which is almost a mile deep. I will post a similar view in the workshop after the fog lifted a few hours later.

Rosie and I spent three days in this eastern region of Pennsylvania enjoying the colorful leaves. We usually take a weekend trip every year around the second week of October just for this annual event.

Hi Ron,

I have not been a fan of fog since being caught in a white-out on the New Jersey Turnpike years ago. But, I love the fog in this picture. Just amazing to see the canyon filled with fog and how clear it is on either side. An excellent shot with wonderful colors and perspective. What a difference between this and the equally good view in the workshop.

Jane

Hi Ron,

Like you shot, love the colors in the trees and the contrast between the blanket of fog and the clear blue sky. Great POV.

Kris

Hello Ron! Wonderful fog. Amazing landscape. Excellent colours. Superb capture. Well done!

Hi Ron,

Cool shot, I like it. Interesting to see fog in combnation with bright sun.

I like how fog lays in low areas, I have a marsh across the street from me that is a good fog generator in certain conditions, and it sometimes fills the neighborhood with thick fog.

Where is the canyon located in relationship to Wellsboro? I'd like to check it out in Google Earth.

John

Hello Ron,
What a beautiful picture! I am very jealous of you, look
all those fall colors, incredible! You had a very nice POV
and composed it very well.. Well done

Some of those lichen covered rocks look a whole lot like what we have here just a mile from me..actually I have some remnants here in the room...and the valley...wow! really makes one feel different when your above it looking down...sometiems though when driving or walking down and enter the fog...all things change..

now this is an amazing shot!! Love the low cloud cover in the valley. Wow!! Just amazing. TFS

Hey Ron!

Wow! What a great shot! That river of fog has sparked my interest to learn more about and visit the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. How many months out do you need to reserve a cabin? :)

Wonderful compsition and colors.

Bud
