| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Well, not quite, but that's what comes to mind when I see this unicorn clubtail dragonfly (Agrigomphus villosipes) in an aesthetically-challenged environment of yellowing lily pads and stagnant (although not necessarily polluted) water. This was shot with a Canon 1.5 teleconverter and a monopod. |

Hi, Gary,
an excellent shot in a tough environment! the colours of blue eyes and yellow lily pads are very striking and really catch my attention!! and interestingly, the whole atmosphere reminds me of those war zones or ailen wars seen in the Hollywood movies. well done!! thanks for sharing!
chrs,
Man Yee
Hello Gary,
It's colourful; these saturated blues and yellows are very attractive.
Good DOF, BTW.

Hi Gary
very well capture with this dragonfly!
I like the focus you got along all the body of the insect, even with a f4 aperture...
nice colors and POV.
well done.

Hi Gary.Looking at the smile on its face it seems glad to be in the area with lots of insects to eat. You have a good face on POV with good detail and bright colours. good use of the light. well done TFS.

Hi Gary!
Well captured dragonfly. Environment and insect itself look like taken from Mad Max movies :-) Very nice pose, POV and details.

Beautiful macro Gary,
Love the fine detail you have captured. Nicely composed with wonderful colors.
I don't think I would want to go swimming in the water though.
