[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It's been rather cool here even for the end of September as autumn progresses toward winter. I love all the seasons but this time of year is perhaps my favorite.

I don't look at autumn as the season before a cold and harsh winter but rather as a peaceful, joyful ending of yet another glorious, growing year.

Taken hand-held, macro setting, auto everything, in the shade on a partly sunny day. Some PP work, including gamma reduction.

I pray that all of you are well, joyful, and are experiencing the peace that comes only from above.

Hi Larry. I just love the way the coloured leaf stands out from the dark brown ones. Taken withfine detail and such natural colours. With the main leaf just having a little green left . Well taken TFS.

Very nice photo Larry,
Gives you the feeling that Fall is here and Winter will be close behind. Love the composition you chose along with the natural colors. Great focus and the exposure is just right.
By the way, Rosie and I will be heading your way in a week and a half to view the leaves and spend some time outdoors.

Hi Larry,

Although it is finally cooling off here and there is even a chill in the air, this is not a scene we will see in Tucson. The perfect red leaf among the dead leaves does look like a flame against the embers. Another of your wonderfully artistic compositions, beautiful colors and superb details.
