Many thanks for your warm comments on 'Long John Silver'.

Hello Angela,

Wonderful how you've captured the female mallard bathing.
love the way the water drops are all around the place and the way the duck is looking.
Seems to me like it has big fun splashing around.
Very good composition, but it looks like the image is a little over exposed and contrast is a bit hars.
Nevertheless a very nice shot at which it is a realjoy to look at.
Well done. TFS!!!

Kindest regards, Harry

Nice work in stopping the water and getting the feathers in focus.
For this speed, the colours really worked nice.
TFS.

Hallo Angela
It seems as if this Mallard is having a ball of a time by splashing like crazy in the water. I really like this scene. It gives the impression of a happy and cheerful duck with no cares in the world. Even the eyes are half way closed out of sheer pleasure. A lovely action shot. The water splashes adds a special touch to this lovely image. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards
Anna
