Beautiful shot of a beautiful bird. Exposure is perfect. Outstanding details. The eye is wonderful! Excellent DOF and a nice clean image with a wonderful blurred background.

Hallo Jane
This is such a neat and elegant looking bird. The blue is such a special colour and have an almost royalty to it. You have captured this bird with great detail and clarity. Here I especially refer to the tiny yellowish spot on the beak and visibility of the opening for the nose. And of course the tiny worm in its beak adds that special touch. Great stuff and thanks for this contribution.

Hi Jane,

If I had this bird in my neighborhood it would be my favorite too. Actually I have never seen a Bluebird. A beautiful shot of him in this great pose with his food in his mouth. Colors are wonderful and the details are superb. A lovely background and composition.
