Alongside a dirt path near an old farm I found this pumpkin among these pinkish meadow wildflowers... not sure of the species... but I should know this one... it is very common here.
The day was a bit overcast with a slight breeze. It was taken early afternoon. Hand-held, auto everything with somewhat extended 12X zoom lens... some PP work to produce natural colors (reducing the saturation) gamma reduction... and a bit of increased contrast (to make the image more "touchable"), a bit of a warming filter to reduce the camera's image cooling and a bit of sharpening.

Hi Larry,
Lovely capture of a huge pumpkin in a great flower field! The sharpness and POV are perfect. The DOF is very well maintained.
Very well done, my friend!
best regards,
Paras

Hi Larry,
I read recently about those big pumpkins in US.
Now I see a beautiful one surrounded by attractive flowers. The clarity and sharpness is excellent and the composition at the corner make the photo lovelier and pretty.
regards,
Foozi
