Hello Bill,

I see that these ladies have stopped their animate conversation and is just focussed on getting a prim and proper pose for your camera.
Cardinals are of interest to us India beacuse we do not have them here.And these birds seem to be quite common in your country.

The colours on the pair is amazingly rich and i like the blend of graded black and red that manifest the BG.The sharpness on the birds are fine and the glint in the eyes that enlivens the composition cannot be missed.The composition itelf is appreciable for its style and neat arrangement of elements in an appealing fashion.

Wondeful shot of the two birds sitting aside.
Good BG, nice colours and composition.

I have lot of postal stamps of this bird Cardinal but i do not think i have this coloured Cardinal.

United States Postal Service released a set of 50 stamps showing a bird for a state along with a flower, i have them and i see cardnial an important member for many states.
