This thrasher does not look too content in the heat of your summer, but you took a nice shot of it in the shade of the (I forgot the name) tree. It has a good pose and your composition is excellent as usual.

Hi Jane,
I wish I could say "to darn hot", here it's quite cold and raining.
IMO your picture is a bit pale and a small dose of contrast
would maybe help, but the picture is well composed and the bird in a nice pose.

I hope you are surviving the heat well.The shots you are taking of animals dealing with the extreme heat are wonderful.This one is well composed with natural colours.The pose you captured allows a very good look at this bird.Nicely done.TFS
