| Hi everyone, I posted this dock a couple weeks ago and it was taken off the site. I e-mailed TN and ask them why it was taken off they e-mailed me back and couldn't tell me why. So I thought I would try again and see if anybody could tell me why. I took this shot of this dock at a local lake in Bella Vista Arkansas and it was in the wild. I wanted to share this with you because I thought it was very unusual because of the feathers on the top of his head. I have posted many other pictures of ducks on here before and never had any problems. So I'm not sure why this one would be any different. Thanks for looking hope you enjoy and hope this time he stays on here. |

Hi Tom,
Realy unusual dock, he/she it's very sweet!
I don't know why there is no comment and no answer...strange.
Good luck,
Anca
Hi Tom,
I wonder which specie this is... For me it is a very unusual duck that I have never seen before. Maybe this is a specie that escaped from captivity and now lives in the wild and it might be for that reason that it was reported... Anyway, this is a very nice capture with good low POV, composition, details and exposure. Thanks,
Claudine
hello Tom
a couple of years ago (in 2006) i saw a duck hairs on
his head like yours, the duck that i saw i think it was the
hybrid of the mallard and black duck, it was amazing
nice image with excellent low pov and a great light on the duck

Hi Tom,
No idea why it was removed. Possibly someone though it was domesticated and reported it as a violation. Not sure what type of duck it is,ut you have captured iy very well. Light, colors, and detail, all look great!
Scott
I still like it and I still like the hair style! ;)
