Very nice DOF, colour and detail - especially on the old post. I have been trying to get a very simialr picture with my local tree swallow - but it seems to only come when it will be backlit!

Well done, Cecelia. A good strong capture with strong compostion. Nice and clear, and even a nice frame, too. My personal taste would run toward trimming a few pixels off the top, though.

he is looking at your, directly into your lense((: nice composition with great DOF. it is sharp as well, i think that mettal nail on the wood make it the shot more intresting.

This really is an excellent shot. The whites are spot of and the OOF BG is excellent, the whitey green of the BG works exceptionally well with the swallow which is wonderfully sharp.
