Hello Cecilia,
the butterfly is shown very clear and with sharp details. General and colour composition are beautiful. Due to the brilliance, the smooth background, the high sharpness and the combination with the colourful Buddleia even this simply coloured butterfly becomes very attractive.

Hi Cecilia

Another splendid shot from you and great to see you also have some more macros, too. I remember being fascinated by your dragonfly photos just after i joined TN. :)
This is a splendid butterfly here and you present it superbly - with impeccable details and some impressive colors. The contrast here between the butterfly and the fower is terrific, as well.
Techinically, i really love the DOF here - one that isolates the perfectly focused subject from the flower and the BG - as well as the side POV. Also because of that spot-on focus, the textures and details on the butterfly are exceptioanl. Beginning from the small hairs on its head, body and wings to all those very small spots and "veins" on its wings...there all so impressive!
All-in-all: superb composition and presentation!

Wonderful sharpness and clarity .The focus is razor sharp with wonderful details and textures.The eye level POV is very good,and the DOF is excellent ,this butterfly stands out beautifully against that fantastic OOF BG.The purple flower makes a nice accent and contrast to the green.There is surprisingly a lot of colour variation in the yellows on the wing when seen like this .Great job.TFS

Hi Cecilia,
extremely precise, elegantly presented cabbage white in pleasant, subtle, well controlled naturalistic colours.
Composition is excellent, but I might allow a bit more free space on top instad of the heavy dark border.
Main object perfectly placed within shallow depth of field under apparent low light conditions. Nice to see the butterfly sucking with its antennae apparently moving in pleasure. Thank you! With best regards,
