[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As a follow on to yesterday's post, here is another shot of a Blue Jay and I swear he almost seemed as if he was intentionally posing! ;) I took numerous shots of him almost fixed in this position. Again same technique used, peanut butter spread on the backside of the trellis to lure the bird in. Also I find it useful if you sprinkle the smaller chick seed in the peanut butter as it attracts the smaller birds like the bunting and grosbeak. I have shots of them on this trellis that I will post later in the week.

Hello Greg,
It's been a long time!
Technically superb and caught in a pose that looks like a pose, this is a great portrait of a Blue Jay showing all its features in a fine way.
Looks like he is stepping up from the old to the new!
Thanks,
Ivan

Hi Gregory . This is a bird i would love to see one day . I love this pose with its leg on the top fence. A great close up showing sharp focusing and fine detail. Your use of the light has given bright natural colours and catch light in the eye. well done TFs.

Hello Greg,

Another fine shot of the Blue Jay.
The saturation and the focus are spot on.
Love details of the patterns and the texture of its plummage.
I do like the 'stepping' pose.
This must be a first for TN!

Have a good w/e,
Bev :-)
