| This ladybug was spotted at 3.5 mile post of the Wilmington & Western Railroad right-of-way, while I was waiting for a train to come by. More correctly, this is Harmonia axyridis, the Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle, an introduced biological control agent. More information about this insect, can be found here. |

Nice composition. The colour of the insect also little different than we saw normally.

This is a very interesting photo for two reasons: 1) you don't normally see a ladybug climbing on what looks like wheat, 2) I am used to seeing red ladybugs.
The lighting is a little on the dark side but the clarity and sharpness are there for the detail of the subject.
