[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This milkweed pod was gleeming in the late afternoon sun at the National Arboretum.

Milkweed plants (Asclepias) are the host plants for Monarch butterflies. Its nectar also attrachs many other species of butterflies. Milkweed also draws hummingbirds and hummingbird clearwing moths to the garden for nectar.

I just love these shots.. I have a few myself. The image is a perfect balance between sharpness, light and color. Well seen Robin.
