Most of the birds at Corkscrew are not afraid of people so they are perfectly comfortable staying very close to the boardwalk, like the anhinga in this photo.

This is full frame with absolutely no cropping. 400mm f2.8 Canon lens, no converter.

Hello Gregory, Welcome to TN.
I really like your composition in this shot. The unusual pose makes for an interesting photo. The colors are beautiful and the lighting is right on the money. TFS.
I would love to someday get a 400MM f/2.8 Canon lens!! I presently use a 70-200mm F/2.8 Canon and have tried the 2x converter on it, but am not happy with the results, so I'm trading it back for a 1.4 converter instead.
