Hi Scott, what a great macro shot captured with skillfulness and art. Great POV, beautiful colours and the composition adds to it: I like the leaf crossing the whole photo and the green background makes the bug stand out. I wish I could have learned more about that strange bug with a small note. Thanks!

Francine

very very great macro, impressive details of insect, especially the eyes, thanks fr share this fantastic work, have a nice day,Luciano

How would you like about 85,000 western boxelders!!! AGGGGGGH! I've never looked at ours this closely. I don't think they are that colorful. They are such a nuisance... harmless I think... but a nuisance. For some reason they like our property more than any one else's.

This is a great macro. We need a note.

Hi Scott,
a very good close-up of this Heteroptera (Lygaeidae?)
Well-focused and with sharp details.
Thanks,

Marcello

Hi Scott!
Beautiful, and very colourful bug species (the colouration is a kind of self-defence I suppose :>). I like also profile point of view. Anyway, some noise reduction would be good idea :)
Friendly yours,
Radomir
