Stereum ostrea, looks somewhat like the Turkey Tail mushroom, Trametes versicolor, thus the common name of False Turkey Tail. This is a common mushroom found on dead wood in many parts of the world.

They often have green algae growing on them which, combined with the reddish colors of the mushroom that can be quite pronounced when it's actively growing, can result in a pleasantly colorful image.
