In eastern Louisiana there is plenty of places to find the pitcher plant. They are a meat eater.

Once an insect get into the pitcher plant it finds it hard to escape because of the pattern on the inside.
I took this a Crosy Arboretum. Very nice place for flowers and lots of macro work.

I hope you enjoy. Thanks for stopping by: Tabatha

Hi,
Excellent macro, very sharp and colorful! Great composition and light!
Thanks Ana:)

Without seeing the other comments, my first thought was "well-composed"! excellent view of this plant. You might want to try sharpening your pictures in Photoshop or Neat Image to make them a little crsiper, however.
