[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This deer is a resident of the wildlife refuge at Grandfather Mountain, the tallest peak in the Blue Ridge mountain range in western North Carolina.

**Reposted a different pose of the same deer to address the critique. This is a fairly tight crop of a larger image that contained 5 deer. The bright sun and cloudless sky created problems with strong shadows, but I chose not to use a fill flash for fear of startling the deer. Any suggestions for post processing to help with the shadows is always appreciated!
