"Away from the crocks" - that's where you should go :)
It's a very interesting shot you bring us. You've photographed this pair very nicely. I think I'd leave a bit more space to the left and right of the alligators. (this only applies if you cropped this shot before posting). This way we could see a bit more of the habitat they rested in. Other than that, its very nicely done.
