[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I think this is a common moorhen, please correct me if you know what kind of bird this is. This is the only marshy area I can find in Aransas Pass and I can only get to a small area of it straight off the road. It drive me crazy because I can hear all those birds just on the other side! Waterlilies are everywhere.

Hi Daisy
A very nice in the environment of this moorhen and her babies, nice compo and the water lilies adds a nice touch and help to “draw” the eye into the frame. Also, there is a neat “path” fro the eye to follow from baby to mom to baby to lily, all adding to the dynamism of the picture.
Just wee bit soft, F8 is no good here, you are looking at f16, because you are also using a zoom.

Hello Daisy, it's a good moment and you have captured the essence of it well. The focus is a bit soft as Callie says, and the point of focus seems to be in the middle of the trio. Nice work though.
