Hi Howard!
What a surprising effect! I love it, it gives the picture a surreal aspect. But not only the droplest are interesting, the squirrel is superb, too.
Kind regards

Those droplets look amazing Bruce!
I've never seen them refracting the light like that before.
A most unusual phenomenon.
Lovely squirrel too.
Thanx for sharin'
Steve
Hello Howard,
Amazing and very beautiful effect but are these droplets on your lens or is it actually raining? Wonderful colours and the squirrel is very cute too! I like the workshops, it is fascinating to watch animal behaviour. We often see the male Red Squirrels chasing each other in terrific speed up and down the Pine trees here.
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Hi Howard.
What a wonderful colour effects created by water droplets. They decorate the nice scene perfectly. I like amazing combination of shadows and lights on the frame, expressive pose of a cute animal and impressive expression of its eye(s). I also like superb framing and composition as well as perfect details of the squirrel and grass. WS are amazing too. I have watched them with great interest. Well done and TFS.

Hi Howard,
Water droplets? I've forgotten what they were. They make this adorable squirrel look like he is in a fantasyland. I LOVE the action shots in the workshop. All three pictures have wonderful details and colors. Topped out at 106 here yesterday and nothing in the forecast but triple digits and no rain.

Hi Howard,
you have an ongoing road show with those clowns in your backyard. You caught funny moments . I notice that your grass is already brownish, here all is green from the rainy days.

Grazie e complimenti. Ciao Maurizio

It does, indeed look like precious stones, Howard, and my my, they're raining from the skies! You live in a lovely and rich place, my most respected friend!
While i love the shot, I would also like to say that the rain of these jewels seems to distract me, I may be wrong...
The workshops are awesome!
Cheers!

Hi Howard,
Last year during monsoon I was experimenting with much similar concept. But due to lack of suitable gear I was unable to get any desired result. By the way at that time I was trying to capture the rainbow reflections which was occurring over the large leaves of Colocasia esculenta (Hindi=Taro, Oriya= Saru). I think I can succeed with my experiment this year as I am now having a tripod and also the 400D. A very nice capture with superb details and excellent natural special effects. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Loving every bit of this...and of course not to forget the workshops..What a wonderful capture do you share with us dear Howard!
The refracted water droplets absolutely looking like little jewels..bright and shining ..and adding a lovely glow to the composition. THe overall tones used in the shot created a great mood and the squirrel itself pshown in good clarity and sharpness.
The dark BG and the well lit up FG works effectively.
The workshop shots make excellent accompaniments to the main presentation.Very enjoyable and amusing action shots titled aptly.
Thanks for sharing and cheers
Have to come back, Howard
Marking, Shall return with critique later
Cheers
