I still can't get over how each of these delightful creatures literally posed for me. I feel pretty sure this is a white peacock - I've compared it against numerous identification photos, counting markings, spots, etc. BUT if somebody has a better id, please, don't hesitate. :)

Hello Angelina
A beautiful butterfly set in a equally beautiful surrounding. The composition is slightly different then what we normally see and that is excellent. Brilliant colours, sharp focus, good lighting, and a nice out of focus background makes it a delight to look at.
Greetings
AC

Hello angelina,
Nice shot of butterfly with good composition, beautiful colours,
well done

Hi Angelina.
Another beautiful image using the flowers and wonderful DOF to make him stand out. Great colour and detail, the butterfly just slightly soft on my screen but thats being picky. The sharp focus seems to lay on the flower bud and leaves just before him and his back wings.
Wonderful image

You said "I still can't get over how each of these delightful creatures literally posed for me."

This is a special arcane art of speaking with the creatures of the natural world, which you seem to do naturally...and yes it is a very well posed picture, full of color and crisp...Looking back over your catalog, you have come a long journey in a short time. Great work is understatement.

Hi Angelina

Wow, what a lovely specimen of a peacock butterfly with those amazing patterns and almost golden colours. I just love how you have captured in on this shot while it sits between all those bright coloured little flowers. The two orange bits at the end of its antennae almost looks like little headlights.

I like the composition very much with the butterfly sitting well off centre in the top left quarter of the photo and being balanced by the green foliage of the plant in the bottom right quarter. Together these two (the butterfly and the green leaves) lies snugly on the diagonal line. The colours throughout the shot is pretty amazing, the details are crisp and very sharp, the dark and OOF BG is well removed and complimentary to the insect, and the exposure was perfectly managed considering the remarkable light on the partial white butterfly with no OE visible.

Very well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hi Angelina
Your White Peacock is showing off his beautiful wings so nicely. The colours on his wings are a nice compliment to the colour of the orange (Lantana) flower. Excellent detail, lighting and composition. Good notes too!

Outstanding composition with excellent DOF. This one definitely has a 3-D effect in my opinion. The colors and exposure are perfect and I like the fact that you let butterfly and lantana co-star in this one by allowing us to see the marvelous texture of the leaves with your wider crop. This was not done at the expense of the butterfly whose beauty can stand on its own.

Yes - a white Peacock and as beautiful as can be in a perfect pose! Bravo! Cheers, Klaus

Hello Angelina,
You've really caught this beauty in very fine light to bring out the colours so well. Sharpness is great and I like the sharp tips of the antennae too. Beautiful Lantana too.
Maybe you could have cropped it a bit more on the right but still a very nice composition.
TFS and regards, Ulla

Hello Angy,
Apart from the good technical quality of this shot, I like the composition as if this White Peacock is about to leave the attractive lantana flowers to the photographer, which makes it unusual and interesting. The butterfly itself is well portrayed with good sharpness and detail.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan

Hi Angelina,
I like this different POV for the butterfly. The composition of your photo makes me look up the leaves in the bottom right towards the butterfly. Brilliant green captured on the leaves.
Good photo,
regards
Matt.

Hi Angelina,
Outstanding shot of this beautiful butterfly. Such lovely colour tones and patterns on its wings. The image is sharp and much detailed. I love the green habitat and the fabulous lantanas. You should have tried cropping the bottom part a little but that is purely personal taste. Nevertheless a fantastic shot with a great POV. Very nicely composed. Kudos.
TFS.
