This is a super shot Angelina; one of the best I've seen here. It is just wonderful. The flowers are exquisite and the drama of the inverted butterfly against that wonderful background is to be envied.

Wow a truly incredible shot Angy! You're doing some pretty amazing work with that 40-150mm. Beautiful flower here where the butterfly is sitting and a great blurred complimentary background as well.
I just got back from my trip and am now uploading 5 1/2 gigs of photos! Hopefully I'll get something posted in the near future.

Stunning background Angelina. The position of this butterfly is well seen.The fringes around the petals enhance this photo as does the clarity of the wings. This one really stands out. Now....if I can say... I would crop the left a bit to lose that partial purple flower at the bottom.Just about 10 pixels.

Nice sharpness on butterfly and flower. Very good DOF. I would be tempted to rotate this one 180 degrees since the flowers also look like they could be uspside down (but I know that rotating the image is a no no for some).
It is supposed to be rainy here all week. I got wet yesterday AND today.

300 photos WOW! Hope I could see them all at a time. In this capture the color combination is like our national flag. Orange, Green, White and Dark Blue. I like the POV in which you have portrayed the BF. Very nice composition and excellent details. My FAV.

Hi Ange, this is a nice shot of the upside-down butterfly. I think your focus is more on the flowers, which look great, but it is still very eye-catchiing.

You keep getting better and better! So many good things about the image. The borders around the flowers, the same flowers OOF in the BG, the multicolored BG. And so forth. Well done.

FANTASTIC!! What magnificent effect and atmosphere you have presented here. Superb colour tones and contrasts with the violet, rust, bottle green and the white butterfly combining beautifully and filling the frame. Immaculate sharpness and neat focus on the flowers and the eyes of the butterfly. Excellent POV to capture it upside down and a wonderful composition. 10 on 10. Kudos.

I think that butterfly looks rather sad and worn, just like I feel when the rain pours down! But I do love those flowers! I've seen them before on TN and I'd love to know what they are? You've captured them really well, very sharp and the colours are terrific. I like the background very much too!

You must be wondering why I went back to one of your older postings to award my smiley. I just adore the colour purple and your photo "I love rainy nights" jumped into my face, and I could not ignore it. This is a brilliant captured photo with lots of colourful detail and features. Well composed and presented. As a newcomer I browse through the gallery to see what beautiful photos I have missed out so far. You have a portfolio filled with excellent and most interesting photos. I like the way you blurred out the background with one purple flower, although hazy and still visible. The combination of the purple flowers, the butterflies white wings with silver lining is an excellent mix and blends well with one another. A real neat shot and well offered. Thanks for sharing.

So hmmm, did you have a rainy summer? We certainly did not in Georgia, it is terribly dry and we are in the worst drought ever.

Great photo, I love the contrasting colors and excellent sharpness.
