Well you are the one who ID'ed my first cabbage white, so my guess is you're right and of course this one is better...but this year you have set forth a challenge for me now!:-) Very nice Angel!

Hey I took 2 of these this weekend too. But they turned out bad, so I am glad yours went perfect.I kinda thought it was a moth for some reason.
Maybe the body defines moths from butterflies.
This is an easy shot to blow out with the whites, but you managed the details.

You've solved the double difficulty of exposing two white subjects correctly quite well Angelina, but I think the b.fly is a little over exposed, however your thema is perfect my friend, for that I thank you for sharing this fine scene with us.

Yes it looks to me as a cabbage white as we can see a dark spot behind the wing. Anyway Excellent composition and sharp details. Thanks a lot for sharing.

This is just a stunning capture with all technical aspects being perfect. What a soft white coloured butterfly. Very enjoyable to look at and pleasing to the eye. The same colours in your presentation are pretty and blend in well with one another. You have shared a very nice shot with great composition and framing. The details of the paws and the antenna are sharp. A superb quality macro with a beautiful colourful backdrop, and I especially like the unopened blossom blurred out in the background. Hi Angelina,
it looks very much like a cabbage white but I do not see the black spot on the underside of it's wing so it may very well be the western white instead.The title given this photo is apt and makes the most sense.The great thing about butterfly photography is as lovely as they are,they pick such wonderful perches to land on and flowers alway compiment those wee creatures.The point of view and the exposure all very good for this capture of butterfly and flowerhead.Thanks for sharing this one with us.
