Hello Howard,
Coincidentally I was experimenting with taking shots of our squirrel visitor drinking at the bird bath but the results were not up to my expectations. I would have posted one like this instantly.
I like the POV and pose as well as the reflection.

I am laughing at this one! I remember how back east we had to get bird feeders with squirrel guards. This is precious and the squirrel is wonderful. The face and eye are remarkable. Fine colors of his fur and I love those little feet.

Hi Howard.Squirrels get up to all sorts of mischief as this picture shows. You have capturedfine detail and natural looking colours. a good reflection in the water. with good light in the eye. well done TFS.

Great shot of Rocky, nicely composed shot with agreat POv and a lovely pose, I like the way the Squirrel must be drinking so delicatly as the water isn't disturbed one bit and the reflection is perfect, nice sharp detail with lovely colours.

Hello Howard,

"Rocky the Rocket" is a clever squirrel. Doesn´t have searching far for drink and or eat. I like the POV and pose as well as the reflection. The object is razorsharp. Fine details of the fur. Good eyecontact.

Loot and I have been away a while to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and in this time I have missed out on some beautiful images like your "A bird imitation". What a delightful and most pleasing shot. This is truly a gorgeous image with lots of detail to appreciate. The cute little ears and nose, the catch-light in the eye and the big black eye itself are just great. I think the "bum up in the air pose" is just superb. The reflection in the water is a bonus.
