Hi Howard,

I love it!! Two things you can't find here - squirrels and grass. Well, grass on the golf courses but that's different. You caught this squirrel at a perfect moment. The expression on his face is priceless. And the hind feet off the ground are great. The purple flowers in the upper left quadrant really add to the fine composition.

Hello Howard,
Back after a day's gardening and photography with mixed results.
I needed something to feast my eye on so I found this delight in the gallery. A great action shot of this Texan Squirrel. I like the POV, the contrast with the BG grass and flowers and the technical merits and the composition is great, giving the feeling that he is bounding towards the viewer.

What a great capture of this little Texas Fox Squirrel, excellent frozen action, wonderful detail, and very well framed, that f5.6 puts him right in the middle of your focus point, with the foreground and background nicely soft, just excellent.

He looks like a joyous and very happy animal and if I was a squirrel, I would live at your place to swim in your pond, eat the fruits of your tree and all the fantastic goodies you would feed me.
