| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| I was hanging out in front of the bird feeders at my work place (a non-proft bird observatory) with my camera this morning trying to get a few images of the few species of birds that can survive a Fairbanks winter. This Hoary Redpoll can be distinguished from its more common relative the Common Redpoll. The Hoary is generally paler in color and has a short stubby bill. Even with these characteristics it is a very tricky call and it is impossible to be sure without having the bird in the hand to take detailed measurements. |

Nice shot of this beautifull small bird.
Excellent light and spark on the eye.

Hi David
I like the inquisitive pose from your lovely model. The head tilt is delightful! Very nice camera work. :-)
