[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi everyone, Lucy is finally out of the hospital so I hope to be here much more frequently from here on. This grizzly is from our trip to Fish Creek near Hyder. After consuming two salmon it felt the need to vary its' diet by consuming some grass. That was until something upstream caught its' attention and it moved off.

Yippee! I am so glad that Lucy is better.

This is a great capture of your favorite animal. It looks like you were pretty close. Were you on the boardwalk or off on your own? I'm sorry that we never made it to Hyder during a salmon run but with the price of gas I'm wondering if we will ever venture that far again :º( ...Maybe someday.

Hi Rick!
I have been out of TN so frequently in the past couple of months I am quite out of touch. Hope Lucy has a quick recovery. Give her my best wishes.
It has been long since I had the opportunity to look at your pictures. This image of a grizzly at the water's edge is very natural. You have captured the subject in its relaxed moments.
Thanks and take care.

Hi Rick,
This shot brings back many memories from my flying days in Alaska. I sure miss it.
Glad your wife is out of the hospital. I spent from Aug 3rd to Sept 13 sitting with my handicapped son in the hospital this past summer. Doing something like that sure gives you an appreciation for home.
I've been so busy working on getting something going since I've been grounded I've not taken any time for pleasure shots, and I barely take time to peek in here except for every now and then.
It is good to see your star continue to rise, and I hope your wife will continue to do well.

Take care my friend!

Dave
