Oh the joys of owning a pet... :) I have three cats and have always had pets of some kind... dogs, cats, tropical fish, etc. They do require a different routine.

This is a great capture of the roadrunner... excellent detail, wonderful composition and POV. DOF is also well done.

It is good to see you back... you were deeply missed. :)

Hello Jane, nice to see you back!
This is one bird that I've really wanted to see whenever I,ve visited your state. I have yet to view one in the wild, but I'm sure my day is coming.
You post a wonderful shot of this inquisitive Roadrunner. I really didn't know that they were such scavengers until I read your notes. The one in the cartoons always seemed so friendly, I guess that proves that you can't believe everything you see on TV..Ha Ha... Great work!!
