You have delighted us with fine images of the birds and mammals in you area backed with your fine Arizona blue skies and I hope that you will continue to do so.
This fine shot of a female Costa's Hummingbird by the flowers of an Ocotillo summarises your contributions and is agreat image to mark this occasion.

I like this full of life, lights and colours shot of very nice scene. Blossoming twig and charming bird with open wings next to it create a wonderful pleasant for look composition. Sharpness, details and timing are spot on too. My compliments and all the best.

Many Congratulations on Making 2 Years on TN and Many Thanks for the 333 pictures you have posted.
And what a gem of a picture you have posted for the occasion...Superb focus on both main elements of the picture..The gorgeous humming bird and the Octilio Plant set against your Trademark Blue Sky!!...You positioned yourself for the shot perfectly with a lovely shadow from the beak creeping down the body.
Super note as well and you have certainly taught me a lot Jane..I even went to the natural History Museum to have a look at hummingBirds!!

Are you truly loving that camera? Well I know others are... it certainly is wonderful...and now having a slight bit of knowledge as to where and how and when..in the "day" as our kids say..I can see why you are always looking up...I did the same on my occasions visiting your original landscape..looking up was the thing to do...as tall as building!

You are a truly talented photographer and not like many these days who are too tied up in post-processing to produce anything "real", I think I may be pushing it a little with editing sometimes, but you keep your images true and that's a great thing to do!
You've showcased Arizonas wildlife superbly! We must have seen at least 100 different species from you!
I also love the few little repetitive aspects of your photos... the blue skies, bright colours and there's always a "twist" to the photos which keeps the viewer interested :-)
And since you got that S5 IS your photos have gone from excellent to exceptional! :-D
A beautiful photo to commemorate your 2nd anniversary!
There are lovely vibrent colours from the flower that compliment the Hummingbird very well.
Great composition as always and a brilliant POV.
Sharp and crisp with great detail.
And there's that fabulous blue-sky BG :-D

Nice capture. Don't often get to see their wings. The combination of bloom and bird is very nice.

Most folks don't know that Arizona is home to more species of hummingbird than any other state. Fifteen in all. (I learned that at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix.) To me that is very unexpected and interesting.

And, of course, the blooming ocotillo is the harbinger of the long HOT summer. LOL!!! Saguaros should come in full bloom soon.

A big CONGRATULATIONS on this day and a huge moment it must be to complete 2 years on this fabulous site and among friends from all over the world. Needless to say I have enjoyed your company too and have been lucky to see your side of the world through your lens. I wish be with us, hale and hearty, for many many more years.

This is an outstanding shot to commemorate this day. The bright red flowers look so charming and the hummingbird is attracted to it so automatically. Very neat and sharp image with superb colours and lighting. I like the awesome colour contrast here and the pleasant scene. Excellent DOF, POV and composition. Kudos.

Time is rather limited at the moment, but I could not pass without leaving a few words of appreciation for your posting and congratulate you on your 2nd anniversary on Trek Nature. You have captured this Costa's Hummingbird and Ocotillo Plant beautifully. I especially fancy the bright colour of the plant. Unopened blossoms are always an eye-catcher for me and in here on your photo it is no exception. To me it always adds that special and finishing touch to an image. You managed to photograph this hummingbird very closely in action. The opened wing, and wide awake big eye is really special. Add the clear blue sky and it makes a perfect posting to celebrate your anniversary with fellow members. Lovely presentation.
