[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the The Addax (Addax nasomaculatus) it is a critically endangered desert antelope that lives in several isolated regions in the Sahara desert.
I took this picture ate Wildlife World Zoo in Phoenix, I tried to make it as wild as possible, the only problem in my opinion is that his surroundings is too green.. But I guess he's happy with grass and shade.

Addax live in desert terrain where they eat grass, and leaves of what bushes there are. Addax don't drink, but get all the moisture they need from their food. Addax are nocturnal: they rest during the day in depressions they dig for themselves.

Hi Everton,
Wonderful shot of this elegant and endangered species and I so very wish it survives. Very neat and sharp image with nice natural colours and perfect light and shade effect. The green grass looks out-of-place for a desert animal but you have done so well to portray it here. Excellent POV and composition. Kudos.
TFS.
