More signs of Fall in Coconino Ntl.Forest Arizona. This Oak island stood alone in a sea of Ponderosa pines.
The first to change here in any real visible way. Usually it is the Aspens but they are dying off at lower altitudes under 7000 ft.)due to insect infestation and the Elk population eating the new growth as well as the bark from the old. Drought is also a big part of the equasion. |
