[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my third photo submission from my trip to Joshua Tree Nat'l Park earlier this year. This particular photo was taken in what is known as "Hidden Valley", which early cattle farmers blasted an entrance way into in order to get access to what once was some good grazing areas for their cattle.
There is now a short loop trail within this very picturesque valley. This shot was taken around 45 minutes after my Barker Dam photos; 2 of which I have already posted on TN.
This photo looks pretty good in sephia mode as well.
What a sky it was that day.

There is a lot of energy in this image. I like it a lot. I really like the dead tree silhouetted against that amazing sky. Good use of the polarizer...rich but not over done.
