California Towhee (Pipilo crissalis)
Hello friends, after a long absence due to my moving to another house I'm back for more. I missed this site very much and all your photos. Today I decided to post the California Towhee I photographed in San Diego.
Note:
The California Towhee feeds on the ground or in low scrub where it prefers a variety of seeds and some insects. It is most often seen traveling or feeding singly or in pairs with mixed flocks.
The call is a metallic sounding chink and the song consists of a long repeating series ended with a trill. |

Hi Everton.
What a cute bird you have pictured at so nice, simple and natural scenery. I like delicate colours of the shot, impressive sunlight, excellent reproduction of all features and details of the bird and captured scene too. Some blurriness of the BG is also fine. My best wishes to you.
Alexei.
