Hi Manyee,
What a perfection! Great sharpness and details, beautiful bright colours and natural light.
Very well done.
Lise

Hi Manyee,
It looks like a Sulphur of some kind. I don't know much about them but I think that I have seen similar specie in my country (white cabbage or clouded sulphur). This is a very sharp capture and those tinny ones are not easy to photograph by always moving, congrats!

Hello Manyee,

This wonderful butterfly is a Lyside Sulphur ( Kricogonia lyside )

Information from www.cirrusimage.com

Life Cycle: Caterpillar to 3/4", dull green with silvery or black stripes edged in brown. Chrysalis bluish gray with white bloom. Host plant in Texas: lignumvitae (Porliere angustifolia). Flight: Summer months.
Habitat: Arid plains and open spaces, anywhere host plants occur. Apparently strays widely, into Florida and Midwest.
Range: Tropical America, resident in Texas and southern Arizona.

Very good exposure on the butterfly which does bring out very nice details.
Love the contrast between the lighter color tones of the butterfly and the saturated dark orange and yellow colors of the flower.
Pity there is a small green pole in the background which distracts a little.
Nevertheless a very nice image with very good sharpness and composition.
Very well done. TFS!!!

Have a nice Sunday, Harry

Hola Manyee, me gusta la composición, la toma tiene buena luz y color, es nitida y con buena textura. Un saludo

Very nice ManYee!
Excellent color & exposure, the almost solid green BG really sets it off. Nicely composed with great detail & POV here :)

Hi ManYee

I don't know the ID for this butterfly either (sorry), but what I do know is that it's lovely.

Excellent details are shown of the underwing area and the eye. The composition with the red flower on the one side and the white butterfly on the other side againts the plain green coloured BG is just great. I'm not sure if it is a wall or a panel of some sorts, but it provide a lovely simplistic BG to make the subjects stand out beautifully in the shot.

Well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot
