| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
North Maroon Peak (14,014 feet / 4,271 meters) is one of the famed Maroon Bells just outside Aspen, Colorado. It's twin peak, South Maroon Peak, is on the far left of the photo. Collectively, the Maroon Bells are one of the most photographed mountains in Colorado, if not the western US.
This mountain is part of the Elk Range and is one of 53 14ers (mountains exceeding 14,000 ft elevation) in Colorado. Gaining the summit requires moderate climbing and route finding skills and is not a standard walk up hike. However, the beauty of this mountain other nearby peaks can be enjoyed by all with easy day hikes in the Maroon Bells Wilderness Area. |

John-
Welcome to TN- this shot is a great way to start. With all the Maroon Bell pics I've seen in my life, I've never seen one from the top. If you do that, it'll be a hit here.

Hello John,
You post another beautiful landscape image!! Very different from your first, but with the same wonderful composition and gorgeous colors!! Love the bright blue sky, something we seldom see here in Northeast Ohio. TFS.
