Wouldn't a few lazy summer days feel good about now? This was taken on the east side of Glacier National Park near the St. Mary entrance. I always find the eastern side of the Rocky Mountains interesting because the flat prairie abuts right up to the mountains. Not ten miles west of this spot the Going to the Sun Road starts climbing up the steep mountains to cross them at Logan Pass.

Hello Evelynn,

A beautiful landscape presents you us. With your low POV you have created a depth in the photo. Beautiful clouds in the blue sky. The tree-line on the top of the hillock gives impact still more to the depth functioning. Natural colors. POV,BG and DOF are oké. Have a nice day and TFS BOB

Evelynn,
Good shot of the classic big open space and sky of Montana, It feels really good to be out there from the city. good clarity and sharpness and beautiful natural colors.

Hi Evelynn

Oh boy...i hear you!!! I sure would love some lazy days ;)
Another very beautifoul shot from you, one with a simple but very effective composition. I really like that thin line of trees and nothing else in the frame to distract the attentiuon from it.
The colors are gorgeous and the exposure was very well handled. The clouds here look great, too, and they act like an addition to the nice elemets of the shot.
Nice work!

Bravo and TFS

Nice low angle shot here cutting down the horizon with nice trees on it. Good fg details in well lit composition which is stunning against that handsome sy, Lazy day indeed.

Hi Evelynn!

I wrote a critique to that picture, but don't see it here. Hmm, I probably made a mistake! Let me try again:

I like this very simple and sober picture very much. And I use simple and sober as positive arguments (my English is so bad..., so I'm careful). It's the fact that there isn't very much in this picture that pleases me: a cloudy sky, some trees and a meadow create a peaceful, calm and as you say "lazy" atmosphere. We soon will be able to enjoy days and atmospheres like this one, so thank you very much for the "preview".

Kind regards

Markus

Hi Evelynn,

With all the snow coming down on us in Quebec today and tomorrow, it feels so good to see a bit of green.
Nice composistion, I like that the horizon is not in the middle, great cloudy sky which gives a nice atmosphere to your image. Well done!

Lise
