I have posted several photos of this Swiftcurrent Creek lately. I posted one taken at the base of the mountains seen here. That was the headwaters of the creek. I also posted several lakes that it feeds along its journey: Bullhead, Red Rock, Fishercap. This shot is the outflow from Swilftcurrent Lake. The creek then comes to rest in Shelbourne Lake. From there it joins St. Mary's River and continues its flow to the sea. The entire Swiftcurrent Valley is beautiful and worth a hike.

Hi Evelynn
This is a beautiful scenic shot. Great color, detail and POV. I really like the way you captured the waterfall running from left to right through the scene. Great depth and lighting. All around its a beautiful shot.
Very nicely done!! TFS

Wonderful work in the vertical Eve;....It sure brings a peace of mind that there are some relatively untouched places which still look great without mans intervention.

Hi Evelynn

A well thought out and composed shot. The exposure is well handled and looks like it may have been tricky. Good movement through the shot.

Hi Evelynn

What a spectacular view and a superbly composed shot!
I love how the water makes its way through the rocks here, going from left to right and backwards, from horizontal to vertical and creating this splendid diagonal line in the frame.
Also, the perspective beyond the water is fantastic - with those impressive peaks just popping up from the ridge. I'm sure this is a place full of magnificent spots and vistas and just a pleasure to watch.
I'm also sure that the people living in that house (with the roof visible on the upper left corner) wake up every morning and just enjoy the beauties around them :) I know i would if i had a place there :)
Very beautiful work!

Bravo and TFS

Hello Evelynn,
There's an extraordinary fall, there are rocks, mountains, blue sky...I don't expect something more actually. Wonderful view...

Hi Evelynn,

Really beautiful scene, so much going on and drawing the eye's attention around, leading from the mountains down the fall... lovely spot and a nicely composed viewpoint.

My only minor crit - what a shame that roof is there - but then you can't always move these things or change the view so they're no longer there, and cloning out in powerpoint could arguably be called "cheating" by purists!!

Love the shot though. Thanks for aharing.

Doug

Very impressive Scenery. Postcard material! Excellent detail and color! Great job! Cheers, Klaus

There are several things I personally like about this image. Color, geology and the majesty of the distant mountains are very, very inspiring. The composition with the rocks and cascading waterfall is exceptional.

Don't know if you have neutral density filters for this but a longer exposure to show some water motion would add to this already great capture.

I could be wrong but it looks like you did not use a polarizer for this shot. That would help keep more detail in the falls themselves.

This picture I'd be proud to have in my portfolio just as it is.

Hello Evelynn,
Thank you so much for sharing this awesome landscape that looks like paradise to me!
good pov which included from the mountain right to the beautiful falls!
excellent exposure and focus in the shot in good sharpness, colour and details
great work

Snow speckled towering mountains, a cascading waterfall that seems to want to keep on running out of the corner, dramatic crags, lush green forest and vegetation with a splash of rusty red...yep, it's all there! Stunning POV to choose Evelynn, you have a great eye for shooting in this type environment. Thanks for sharing such a beauty.
