[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I classified this as a "Mountain," "Trees," and "River" shot... too bad we don't have a "Lake" category, as it isn't truly a river.

This image was almost a year ago on Lake MacDonald in Glacier National Park. I spent the weekend in California, and while I saw plenty of 'wild life,' I didn't see any animals nor shoot any scenics that fit the TrekNature mission.

Therefore, I'm opting to post a celebration of fall from 2007 (taken before I joined the Trek-photo sites). Enjoy! -Kelly

Hi Kelly,
It is a shame that we do not have the Lake category. Many of us landscapes have requested it but so far no luck. I quit using the catagories and list mine solely as landscape.

This is a wonderful extreem low POV photo with a wonderful fall mood. I love how your POV made the leaves in the FG look huge. The leadline in this photo are very effective and my eyes are drawn to the distant trees and mountain. Although my monitor at work isn't good for viewing photos, it does look like the sky is a bit too bright.

Love your POV on this shot Kelly,
It kind of draws you into the scene. Excellent DOf making a very sharp image from the first stone all the way up to the mountain top. Great colors, Well done!!
Ron
