I think this is the same dragonfly as the one the day before. My regrets on this shot is that I didn't have my EV set correctly. I believe it was like -0.03 and probably should have been -0.07 or even -1.00.

Ah well -- all a part of the learning process.

Hi Penny, these was difficult light condition I believe, hard to expose properly. You've shoted with strong light and backlight. I have the same difficulties in those conditions, most of the images goes to trash but sometimes you can reach interesting effects.

The worse is in this case you've lost all the details in lights (see at dragonfly's abdomen and right side of the leaf). This overexposure is in most cases unrecoverable. But gives quite interesting 'feeling' to your image here. Thanks for sharing, Michal.

This is a truly incredible shot! I like this one much better than the first one of the dragonfly. The background colors on this one add a nice contrast to the dragonfly itself. You have a good DOF and the detail you managed to get on the dragonfly is just incredible! Great Job! :)
