Beautiful shot. I don't know where it might have been but I bet if we figure out what time you took off, time you took the photo and the route you flew, we can get a pretty good idea as to where this was. It would be fun to try to calculate!

Hi Silke,

The flight from Las Vegas to Phoenix is only a little longer than an hour. So you were very close to Vegas. My guess would be somewhere near Hoover Dam. It is a lovely scene very typical of Arizona and Nevada. The colors are gorgeous. Nice shot from a plane!
