[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another in my frozen rain forest series (see 3 previous posts). I think one thing that makes this interesting to me is that we are more used to seeing icicles accompanied by snow. It is the ice with the green of the rain forest that gets my attention.

Nice one, Evelynn! We visited a waterfall on the weekend where the surrounding cliffs looked very much like this, only more stone and less vegetation except on top.

I like your "icy" series, Evelynn. What an interesting perspective, though I would not feel safe standing underneath there. It is a rather weird and surreal scene. I like the way the icicles are shining in the shadow.
That must have been quite an expedition you had that day. : ) TFS : )

Excellent capture Evelyn. Really great pov, very nice colours and lots of details in the icicles. The light is handled very well and the composition together with the pov make this a great picture.

It looks like a beautiful spring day above and the cold frozen winter below, interesting combination. Well done.

This picture is a great example of how POV can really make a shot. I love how the trees just look so towering... like they're shooting into the sky like rockets. And at the same time, you have the icicles pointing down, falling down, reaching down. Great shot!
