Ok.
This is the last frozen rain forest post...unless I change my mind : )
It is normally extremely difficult to take an interesting picture in the Oregon rain forest as everything is green..even tree trunks and branches and little sunlight gets in; so to have some definite shapes and contrasts was fun. |

This is a great shot, now you can really see what happend that day. I know what it is like making photos in a rain forrest. I took several at Hoh Rain Forrest in WA, but all you see is green, so I like the contrast in colors you've caught.

I love this one, Evelyn. The icicles are so delicate, and the light on them is just perfect. I also like the little window of sky and light on the trees on the top. It offers such a contrast to the shadowy rainforest and gives life to your ice formations. I have really enjoyed your series of ice and rainforest. Hope you will post another one now and then. TFS. : )
Hello Evelynn,
Very good title, with a hint of warmth/light, contrasting with the frozen rain, adding good interest. Good detail, color, light, and well composed in the vertical. Well done.
Thank You!
Great combination of colors! I have been to the Pacific rainforests and I know exactly what you mean about capturing colors other than green. I think you did a nice job of capturing the ice. I really like the many layers of ice that keep you looking for more. TFS!
